Hi Rich. I just wanted to let you know that I've chosen your blog as one of the five I'm going to review as part of Blog Day 2005. Why? I have no idea, and I'll hopefully be able to explain it better in my post, which I will hopefully be able to finish later on today before I go to rock out to the White Stripes.
Actually, I do know why. You have a cool-looking tattoo in your photo, and you say such neat (omg, did I just say "neat?") things about your kids.
And I promise this isn't some comment-spammy, pathetic attempt at getting people to come read my blog. I swear. Oh, and I'll be nice.
Whilst you slept Millions of hopes were swept away in the floods in New Orleans.
Whilst we were blogging and giggling, Thousands were weeping and wailing in New Orleans.
Put up my daises In between the roses. Let my flowers cover the corpses For I cannot bear the sight of the dead in New Orleans. For Katrina has left me in ruins.
OK normally I don't do this sort of thing, it's your blog and welcome to whatever nutcase.... But just what did THAT second commenter mean to accomplish? It's incredibly easy, in this day and age, to make us all feel bad, but why say something like that apropos of absolutely nothing?? What's the benefit to anyone? Does it make you feel all smart and edgy and deep? I'm sorry that there are hurricanes, but there are. I'm sorry that people lost everything, but they did. That's what hurricanes do, they destroy things. I could totally understand it if Rich had done a piece on New Orleans, but...he didn't...did he? I dunno, maybe it's me, but I find that sort of cheap, in-appropriate sentiment just annoying as all hell. Again, sorry. Your blog, your friends. But still....geez...
I don't really know what Orikinla meant when she wrote that here. I mean, I know what she meant, but I don't know why she wrote it here. I don't know her personally, but she normally posts interesting comments to religious posts.

Each to their own, tho'.
I want to state that I got that self-same skill.
At work they are asking for suggestions for how to cut energy and fule costs I think I'm submitting this idea :-)
