When Apple released it's original PowerBook G3, they made it so that, when the machine was in use, the a person standing in front of the user would see the big, lit-up Apple logo... upside-down. Talk about branding 101... they fixed it a few generations later.
I just got an iPod shuffle with two Amex gift certificates from a client of mine. I was walking around my house with the iPod hanging from its lanyard around my neck. When I went to change songs... YAY! Apple made it so that when you naturally pick up from it's hanging position, the controls are right side up. In other words, when hanging around your neck, the controls are upside down... just like the Apple logo on the corrected PB G4.
Smart.
