Ice cream headaches.

Has anybody out there ever purposefully eaten ice cream way too quickly… just to get one of those hyper-intense ice cream headaches… just so you can feel it melt away?

I used to do that all them time.

Love to all.

No, but I love to squeeze lemons when I have little cuts on my fingers and hands. It a sweet stinging pain.

I don't do it on purpose-but yet I do it quite often-with icecream, really cold drinks, milkshakes, and many other things. I hate that feeling but then again I like the pain of tatoos and piercings-to everyone his own.

Ice cream headache on purpose. God no! Makes me hurt just to thin about it!

It is actually a good practice for aleviating other pain. there are only so many pain recepters in the brain and brain freeze is so intense it occupies those sensors. Thusly, if you have wacked your thumb with a hammer you can slam a milkshake and the thumb pain is gone. Don't believe me? Try it.

My sister and I call it a "brain freeze". We usually get it from drinking mocha frappucinos or frozen shakes too fast.

Here's a link to what causes ice cream headaches.

Now I know why I don't get them.
