[Excerpt] Gay people: as nature intended.

I'm so tired of the "as nature intended" argument against gay people and gay parenting. All because homosexuals are in the minority, that doesn't mean that they were invented by space caterpillars. Personally, I put blue eyes, left-handedness, and homosexuality on pretty much the same plane. They're all recessive traits with NO MORAL COMPONENT WHATSOEVER.

(This is part of a longer post I'll put up later. I just thought it was important enough to point out on its own.)

Love to all. Even you, Clay.

And they're all entirely natural and common.

Zandperl,

Those penguins aren't gay. They're metrosexuals!

Yikes! I have blue eyes and am left handed. I agree with you about the left handedness being akin to homosexuality, but not so much the eyes. People have been known to try to change their kids into righties when they see their left handed tendancies. People look at you kind of weird when they discover that you are left handed. Everyone comes up with one of those, "Oh, I have a cousin who's left handed," kind of remarks when they notice you are holding your pen in "the wrong hand."

Wow. I'm impressed. I've been mentioned by name in your blog posts twice. First you cited me as being what is wrong with the conservative side of the argument, or something to that effect, and now I get to be mentioned on one of your ending taglines to your posts, where you talk down to someone. I hope I don't rate as poorly as your man who elbowed his way to communion. ; )

Clay, if you like that, you're gonna LOVE the bigger response. And you know what? I honestly wish you well. I just find your views to be tragically uninformed... I mean, the whole thing about "human extinction" was just so over the top that I kind of hope it was a joke....

See you.
