As it is written...

Leaving for NYC in 2 hours. Just wrote out my shirt.

Then, magic hippie lady, bath, nap, pasta.

Have I said "YIKES!" yet?

Love to all.

A few weeks before I got married, I got suckered into participating in a corporate challenge run. I say "suckered" because I did it for two of the top three reasons you should never do something:

1. Because everybody else is doing it.
2. It will make you popular.
(3. is, of course, We asked your Mom, she said it was OK...)

Anyway, having never run before in my life (unless you count high school gym class, which I don't), I ran 5k in the park that afternoon. Toward the middle of the race, I wanted to die but didn't want to do it in front of my coworkers, so I kept going. Near the end of the race, all I wanted was to see my fiancée. The idea that he would be there for me at the finish kept me going and, as I crossed the line and collapsed into him, I was dead certain he was mine, the right man for me.

Have fun. Don't die mid-way. Hug Maggie & your kids when you finish. :) You'll be great!

I really hope you beat Lance Armstrong's time. After all the man only has one ball!

/seriously, I had you in my mind and prayers, as I am starting to train for the Montreal's April 20th half-marathon.
//you are my hero!!!
