An Iraqi woman's persective.

I read this just now. I'm still processing it. It's terribly sad.

I've said it before: George Bush has taken this country's greatest recent chance for generating enormous amounts of worldwide goodwill (the tragedy of September 11, 2001), and turned it into a sick, twisted, hate-filled and murderous disaster -- from OUR side.

Every time George Bush talks about anything "Faith-based," I want to throw up. It just seems the height of hypocrisy.

Love to all. Even you, operator.

p.s. This is quite sobering, as well.

Thanks for posting these links. The Iraqi perspective is one that is so unheard in this country. Anyway, know you're not alone in your nausea at the "faith-based" hypocrisy.

This makes me feel so upset for the pain that our country has caused these people.

Proud to be an American? Not right now!

This past year has been eye-opening, for sure...I used to be a straight ticket repub...now I research the issues (who woulda thunk).

But I cringe when I read about hypocrisy - why hold Bush to a higher standard that what we hold ourselves to?

Happy new year, Rich - I recall having a great conversation with you last year at this time --- time has flown by for sure.

When Mr Bush meets his maker, as I believe we all will, he has a lot of 'splainin to do.
