When nations are under a strong dictatorship, there's often little civil unrest. Frequently, it's when people are given a taste of freedom that things get crazy.
When an alcoholic quits drinking, s/he often panics. NOT because things have suddenly gotten worse, but rather because they can see, without an alcohol- or hangover- induced haze, just what the situation actually is.
And me: having started treating my ADHD again, I can see the depth and breadth of the things I need to accomplish more clearly, and the sheer LENGTH of my to-do list is scaring the crap out of me.
Change for the good is scary.
Love to all. Even you, the CFO who keeps semi-committing.

One item at a time, one item at a time...
i sometimes think i have ADHD (http://slyght.blogspot.com/2006/06/adhd-or-just-no-focus.html) but i think it might be more laziness. still, i LOVE "to-do" lists, and mine NEVER gets shorter. i finish one thing and think of three more i need to do.
good luck, you can DO it.
Don't let the ToDo list run you. (spoken like a true Type A personality, huh? ;) ) I'm just saying it's important to keep in mind that you are valuable because you ARE not because of what you DO.
For me the panic comes because I'm too impatient to get it all done RIGHT NOW! and the myth is that it will ever be "all" done.
Now, as a friend, copy and paste this over to my blog, wouldja? ;)
First things first man. There's a fucking slogan for a reason . . .
Seeing a situation for what it is...a skill that eludes all of us from time to time. I'm no stranger to change right now, good luck with dealing with yours.
